“How Do You Do, Snoopy” Art Exhibit (Part 2)

Posted by SNPY ONLY on

Moving into the second section, you’ll discover Snoopy artworks reimagined by twenty artists from around the globe. Each piece highlights a different perspective on everyone’s favorite beagle—playful, stylish, and endlessly creative.

At the heart of the exhibit, visitors are greeted by two massive Snoopy sculptures created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, best known for his world-famous rubber duck installations. One piece playfully fuses Snoopy with a rubber duck, while the other features Snoopy riding atop the bright yellow icon—a delightful nod to Hofman’s signature style.

Taiwanese artist Ren Shen 2 also presents a vibrant series of four paintings that quickly became some of the author’s personal favorites. Bursting with neon pinks and greens, the works reinterpret Snoopy, Woodstock and friends in bold, playful ways.

From Korea, SuperFiction—a studio known for its designer toys—presents a charming sculpture of their character Freddy holding up Snoopy and Woodstock, symbolizing a playful bond between them.

Alongside it, three paintings titled “A Break” show Freddy in a Snoopy mascot costume, captured in moments of rest with the oversized Snoopy head removed—an amusing, behind-the-scenes glimpse of the beagle’s stand-in taking a well-earned breather.

Next, we come to three paintings by 2Choey, a Thai artist recognized for replacing facial features with parts of a fist. His quirky reinterpretation of Snoopy adds an unexpected edge to the beloved beagle.

Another highlight is a painting by Ahhi Choi, depicting Astronaut Snoopy proudly standing on the moon, planting a flag in Choi’s distinctive art style.

Nearby, a colorful painting bursts with energy, featuring Woodstock and his feathered friends in a lively, joyful scene.

Snoopy’s iconic red doghouse also gets a new twist in a sculpture that cleverly merges the beagle himself with his famous home.

Adding a sweet touch, Korean artist Jae Yong Kim—celebrated for his dessert- and donut-themed works—presents four vibrant Snoopy sculptures inspired by his confectionery motifs.

Finally, the exhibit takes a futuristic turn with a metallic sculpture of Snoopy perched on top of a robotic Snoopy, blending playfulness with sleek, high-tech design.

And that’s a wrap for all the amazing artist interpretations of Snoopy! Stay tuned for Part 3, where we’ll explore the Snoopy plush collection and step into the immersive world of the Peanuts Gang!
